Work on the 3rd tram line continues on Cours Gambetta. Most of the electrical work is now done and most of the barriers (though by no means all) are down. Now the work on tidying up and making the area a pleasant place to be is in full swing. No expense has been spared. The latest addition to the aesthetic decoration arrived last week in the shape of very pleasant benches for locals to sit on whilst they rest their legs, weary from shopping. The perfect place to take a moment to breathe deeply and delight in the panoramic view of the new tramline soon to be populated with elegant trams to-ing and fro-ing.  Or perhaps not …
