Claire is an actress, singer, dancer and tribute artist with more than 20 years’ experience. She trained at Stage School, London and later at the Melody Urquhart Masterschool. She also obtained a BA degree from The London School of Fashion. With her multiple talents in entertainment as well as fashion, hair and make-up she is the quintessential all-rounder. And her multi-faceted career doesn’t end there. She is, in addition, a highly successful businesswoman running her own hair and make-up service for weddings, photo-shoots and television. For some 14 years Claire was one of the most sought-after tribute artists for Kylie Minogue performing worldwide in clubs, theatres and on television including ‘Richard and Judy’, ‘Trisha Show’, “The Impressionable Jon Culshaw” show as well as making a number of music videos. She was also regularly featured in some of the world’s most respected publications – OK, Elle, Closer, and NME for example. Despite her incontrovertible success impersonating Kylie, Claire was receiving regular and increasingly numerous remarks about her extraordinary resemblance to Vanessa Paradis. She is the same height and has the same build as Vanessa and, although born and raised in the UK, she is of French descent. When Vanessa decided to take some time out of her professional life to concentrate on her family life with Johnny Depp and their two children, Lily-Rose and Jack, it led to an increasing demand for a quality and skilled lookalike to perform in place of the ‘real thing’. Step forward Claire Renvoize! Claire took on the challenge, adapted her performances, make-up and hair et voilà, ‘Vanessa Paradis’ was re-born and available for hire. Claire’s transition from Kylie to Vanessa has been phenomenal. Her performance goes way beyond dressing and looking the part. She is fortunate enough to have the perfect Vanessa singing voice too and has recorded a demo tape* of four of Vanessa’s best known hits, ‘Be my baby’, ‘I love Paris’, ‘Il y a’, and ‘Joe le Taxi’. Unless you happen to be the real Johnny Depp or one of Vanessa’s parents, I defy you to confidently tell who is singing! Currently we are less than half way through 2012 but already the year has been a busy one for Claire. She has been travelling and working extensively in Europe including a very recent TV spot and going back temporarily to her roots as a make-up artist to lend her skills to a stage production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ in the UK. And there are forthcoming performances planned this summer with Danny Lopez as the acclaimed Depp and Paradis partnership**. In a turn of events which you really couldn’t make up, Claire and Danny have a genuine real life partnership which mirrors that of Johnny and Vanessa. And they, like J&V are sometimes plagued by the same media nonsense that their real-life counterparts are forced to endure. But, like true professionals, they take it all in their stride.
